Qimen Dunjia, this numerology system, always gives people an impression of profundity. These unprecedented internal and external troubles destroyed many valuable traditional cultures, and numerous extremely precious Qimen Dunjia classics were lost in these disasters, representing a significant loss in Chinese cultural history.<\/p>\n

Since the 1980s, traditional Chinese culture has gradually begun to revive, especially from the 1990s. A wave of 'Zhou Yi fever' has emerged domestically, with more and more people studying I Ching culture. Among them, the study of Six Yao Na Jia (Six Lines Numerology) and Four Pillars is the most widespread. This mainly stems from the published books 'Zhou Yi and Predictive Science' and 'Four Pillars Predictive Science' by Mr. Shao Weihua. Most enthusiasts of I Ching started their research under the influence of these two books.
Although the 'Zhou Yi fever' persisted for many years after the 1990s, and the number of people studying Zhou Yi appeared to increase, the depth of research was far from sufficient. Most people only stayed at the level of studying Six Yao Na Jia and Four Pillars, while research and exploration of advanced numerology arts such as Qimen Dunjia, Da Liu Ren, and Tai Yi Shen Shu remained a blank. Most classical ancient texts on Qimen Dunjia lack case analysis, making it difficult for enthusiasts to learn through self-study.

Until 1999, the book 'The Magical Gate' by Mr. Zhang Zhichun, published by Huashan Literature and Art Publishing House, publicly revealed a large number of practical case analyses, enabling many I Ching enthusiasts to enter the research ranks of Qimen Dunjia. It can be said that Mr. Zhang Zhichun sparked a nationwide craze for studying Qimen Dunjia, playing an extremely important role in its research and development.
Following Mr. Zhang Zhichun's 'The Magical Gate', domestic publications include 'Modern Practical Examples of Qimen Dunjia' by his student Du Xinhui, and 'Authentic Explanation of Qimen Dunjia' by his student Shi Jianguo. The official publication of these new works has actively promoted the dissemination of traditional Qimen Dunjia culture.<\/p>\n

My academic system of Qimen Dunjia is inherited from two teachers: one is Mr. Zhang Guang from Xi'an, and the other is Mr. Zhang Zhichun. Mr. Zhang Guang taught me Flying Disk Qimen Dunjia, while Mr. Zhang Zhichun taught me Turning Plate Qimen Dunjia. Among the domestic research community, most focus on Turning Plate Qimen Dunjia, while research on Flying Disk Qimen Dunjia is almost nonexistent. Since ancient times, classical texts on Qimen source into two main categories: Flying Disk and Turning Plate. Currently, almost all published domestic works on Qimen are based on Turning Plate Qimen Dunjia, making it difficult for enthusiasts interested in Flying Disk Qimen Dunjia to find authoritative references. Therefore, I decided to write a specialized work that combines Flying Disk and Turning Plate Qimen Dunjia. This book, titled 'Qimen Enlightenment', began in early 2005 and took three years to complete, finally being finalized in January 2008.<\/p>\n

The reason for naming this book 'Qimen Enlightenment' is mainly because during its compilation, the focus was on inspiring and awakening the flexible divination abilities of enthusiasts, aiming to rapidly improve their practical skills in a short period.<\/p>\n

Liu Wenyuan Biography<\/strong><\/p>\n

Visiting Professor at Peking University, Visiting Professor at Nanchang University, Distinguished Professor at the Academic Committee of Huaxia Confucian Business College, Executive Director of the Hong Kong Sinology Research Institute, Member of the Chinese Zhou Yi Research Association, President and Legal Representative of the Wafangdian Zhou Yi Culture Research Association.<\/p>\n

Born into a traditional Chinese medicine family, influenced by his grandfather from a young age, he developed a great love for Chinese medicine. Since 1984, he has studied Daoist Longmen School internal alchemy practices under a master. Starting in 1985, he studied some Daoist internal alchemy texts, including 'Zhou Yi Can Tong Qi', 'Xing Ming Gui Zhi', 'Da Cheng Jie Yao', 'Wu Zhen Pian', 'Tao Te Ching', 'Huangdi Neijing', dedicating extensive effort to learning and research. He began studying I Ching in 1988, initially focusing on Four Pillars, Six Yao, and Plum Blossom I Ching. After practicing for several years, in August 1994, he traveled to Xi'an to apprentice under the Qimen master Mr. Zhang Guang to learn orthodox Flying Disk Qimen Dunjia. That winter, he also traveled to Wuhan to receive personal guidance from the renowned Six Ren expert Mr. Chen Weihui.<\/p>\n

Liu Wenyuan is one of the rare elite figures in the current I Ching community who integrates Qimen, Da Liu Ren, Tai Yi, Xuan Kong Feng Shui, Four Pillars, Six Yao Na Jia, Plum Blossom I Ching, character decomposition and divination, external response prediction, Daoist talismans and spells, Daoist internal alchemy, Chinese medicine knowledge, and more.<\/p>\n

Liu Wenyuan is now a member of the World Chinese UFO Federation, an executive director of the Chinese Zhou Yi Research Association, and the president of the Wafangdian Zhou Yi Culture Research Association. He has in-depth and unique research in Qimen Dunjia, Da Liu Ren, Xuan Kong Feng Shui, Six Yao Na Jia, Plum Blossom I Ching, character decomposition and divination, external response prediction, Daoist talismans and spells, Daoist internal alchemy, Buddhist studies, and other fields. Liu Wenyuan particularly emphasizes the accuracy of practical divination, often providing solutions for various seekers. His prediction accuracy has been highly recognized across different circles, and many peers in the I Ching community call him 'Little Zhang Yansheng'.<\/p>\n
