凡占断，须放此心于活泼泼地。

大要：吉则欲无伤，凶则欲有救。

凡占私用，责年命，不必拘定岁月；公用责岁月，不必兼及年命。

凡旺相时凶不发，休囚时吉不发。

岁月日时为六壬大占之纲领。

凡作日之凶神者，欲年命克制之，作日之吉神者，欲年命生合之，乃占断之大关节，不可不知。故年命切于日辰者，课传同而年命独也。年又切于命者，命远而年近也。

五行均从旺论，不均，从多论，不多，从生多者论。（谓从时旺、从多旺、从生多者,旺）

吉地之吉气，神自当之，将无与也（？）；凶地之凶气，神自当之，在将为失势（？）。

旺神：合局有七处之旺神，分局有四位之旺神。旺者，四时旺相、生旺、随日辰（？）旺、又有从多旺。

凡占取课传中旺神，或年命上及占时旺神，旺则有力故也。或舍时令，而从多为旺。

凡断地理、宫室、物类等件，从旺断有，克者为无。

用神为各神衰旺之本（？），犹一家有家长，故凡事决于此。凡占以旺神为主，时令旺之外，又有生多为旺，从多为旺。合七处则以发用三传为旺之本，分七处则以各神四位官将神为旺也，盖就一神言，而一神有衰旺者，官将为之也，即四位（？）为之也。
