Peng Xinrong, a scholar of I Ching studies. For ancient people, using Feng Shui to build houses and dwellings was a simple common awareness. Doors and windows should face the sun as much as possible, and the back of the house should be guarded by taller and more solid objects. These are the consensus of ordinary people. The most basic principle comes from convenience in life, such as doors and windows facing the sun for good lighting, ample sunlight entering, avoiding darkness and dampness inside, which prevents bacteria growth, and also ensures sufficient yang energy inside the house, making it less likely for the body to be disturbed by dampness, naturally promoting health.

In fact, Feng Shui is not that mysterious. Feng Shui that conforms to people's living habits is good Feng Shui. If it causes inconvenience to people's lives, even if it conforms to Feng Shui theory, it cannot be considered good Feng Shui. At least it shows that the Feng Shui master’s layout skills are not yet high enough.
