Spring Wood
Jia and Yi born in the spring months of Yin and Mao, rejoice in meeting metal and fire for fame and honor; do not use water and earth as the useful god, the flexible and straight tend toward Qian, another evaluation.
Jia and Yi born in the first and second lunar months, their wood is especially strong. When encountering metal, use metal, as wood must see metal to become useful; when encountering fire, use fire, as it symbolizes the brightness of wood and fire; water and earth are dormant or dead in these two months and are difficult to use as the useful god. If the chart forms Qian, flexible and straight, or similar patterns, even without metal or fire, one can still achieve success and fame. When using metal, avoid fire; when using fire, avoid metal and water. For those using metal, water seals are still suitable; for those using fire, water and metal fighting is most unfavorable.
For example, if Jia wood meets Shen and Geng, and the pillars have Si, You, Chou, or Xin to support the metal's strength, all are auspicious. If the metal is weak and meets fire or moves into the fire phase, it is difficult to use metal. If Xin stands alone and there is no other metal in the stems or branches, it is just an ordinary person.
If Jia day with Bing revealed does not encounter the star of robbing or killing, and there are many Yin and Chen characters, plus a strong self and moving into the fire phase, all indicate wealth and honor. The pillar does not fear Ding, only fears Ren; if there is a matching god, do not be rigid.
If there is no official in the Four Pillars and only food and output are used, a strong self moving into fire and earth also indicates fame and profit. If water, fire, and metal attack each other with no matching, it is a low fate. As the saying goes: Jia and Yi born in spring months, Geng and Xin appear in the stems; in the Li palace, wealth and honor are predicted, but in the Kan phase, it is just a door.
