The 'Zhou Yi' is also called 'The Book of Changes'. It is said to be written by King Wen of Zhou, Ji Chang. The content includes two parts: 'The Classic' and 'The Commentary'. 'The Classic' mainly consists of sixty-four hexagrams and three hundred eighty-four lines, with explanations (hexagram texts and line texts) for divination purposes. 'The Book of Changes' does not introduce concepts like Yin and Yang or Taiji; the explanations of Yin and Yang and Taiji are from the 'Yi Zhuan' influenced by Taoism and Yin-Yang philosophy. 'The Commentary' contains seven types of texts explaining the hexagram texts and line texts. In ancient times, divination mainly used line words and hexagram words to interpret the divination. For example, after obtaining a hexagram with coins, if there are no moving lines, look at the hexagram text; if there are moving lines, look at the line texts of the moving lines, mostly corresponding to the question asked.

Later, based on Taoist theories, the concepts of Yin and Yang were added, evolving into Taiji, the Two Principles, and the Five Elements' mutual generation and restraint, greatly improving the field of divination. This reached its peak during the Ming and Qing dynasties, with many books published in this period, such as Liu Bowen's 'Golden Strategy' and Elder Yehe's 'Additions and Deletions of Divination'. These incorporated Earth Branches and the Six Relations system into the original Zhou Yi studies. The Six Yao prediction system was further developed. While studying various prediction sciences, Datang Xingyi discovered that Six Yao is a major method, simple and quick, with astonishing accuracy. After reading numerous ancient texts on Six Yao, they found that ancient predictions generally confirmed the outcome afterward but were somewhat lacking in predicting current and future situations. In today's rapidly changing society, it is difficult to meet all prediction needs. To be convincing, predictions must accurately forecast past and present conditions. Based on ancient knowledge, Datang Xingyi has studied for over twenty years, organizing and improving it to meet modern social needs. Predictions are no longer monotonous but presented in storytelling form, describing the causes, processes, and outcomes of events, which is unmatched by other prediction methods. It can often predict the specific day and hour, surprising the predictor. Datang Xingyi has studied various prediction techniques, including Qimen and Liu Ren, but later decisively abandoned them. They believe that one precise technique is better than many superficial ones. They prefer to master one prediction system thoroughly rather than multiple. This may seem monotonous, but it is a personal view; they do not oppose others learning multiple methods. In applying the Six Relations, we learn that 'Gain comes with loss; loss comes with gain.' Our parents gave us life; respecting them brings more energy. Beating or scolding a spouse results in losing wealth. Extremes lead to reversal; prosperity is associated with officials, while rest and imprisonment relate to ghosts. Understanding these social relationships greatly enhances the practice of Six Yao.

Full name: Tang Youquan, from Tangshan, Hebei, born in 1969. By chance, he fell in love with Zhou Yi prediction studies, starting from 'Zhou Yi'. He felt that its content is not only about prediction but also contains philosophy of life. The theories of 'Zhou Yi' helped him understand the existence of various principles, viewing life more comprehensively rather than unilaterally. Later, he focused on Six Yao prediction and Feng Shui. He read extensively from ancient texts such as 'Additions and Deletions of Divination', 'Authentic Divination', 'Golden Book', and 'Yi Mao', gaining great benefits. After more than twenty years of validation, his accuracy has improved significantly. In 2013, he explained his studies at the China Traditional Culture Energy Summit, earning recognition and affirmation from experts present. He demonstrated factory Feng Shui predictions on-site, with eight predictions all accurate, prompting enthusiastic applause from fellow Yi practitioners requesting explanations of Feng Shui principles. In 2014, 'Six Yao Divine Divination for Home Feng Shui' won the first prize from the organizing committee.

In 2015, he received the 'Global Six Yao Prediction Mentor' award, and his work was recognized by the Chinese Academy of Sciences' International Academic Committee. He also received the 'Chinese Yi Studies Scientific Research Achievement Award' at the Tsinghua University Traditional Culture Conference. Using one hexagram, Datang Xingyi could predict for multiple people; within twenty minutes, he provided predictions for ten individuals, astonishing the scene. In 2016, he was awarded the 'Global Yi Studies Planning Practical Celebrity' by the 'China Zhou Yi Research Institute' and 'China Global Publishing House'. He was later appointed as Executive Vice President of the 'International Yi Jing Feng Shui Association', Director of the 'China Zhou Yi Culture Research Institute', and Director of the 'China National Studies Institute'.
