When taking a bus up the mountain at the foot of Wudang Mountain, I met Master Cui, who was sitting in front but kept turning to look at me. We chatted casually, and he asked about my intentions and thoughts, showing great interest. When I got off, he stopped me, told me about the blessed place of cultivation of the Taoist master, and forcibly handed me 100 yuan. At that time, I was indeed almost penniless, with only a few yuan left for a meal. It turned out that Master Cui's family name was Cui, known as Cui Shenxiang, with the Taoist name Xuanqing, quite famous locally. I followed the address he gave to Changyang County Zhongwu Tiandangzhu Mountain Dojo, reported to Master Li, and was allowed to settle there. A few days after my arrival, one late night, Master Cui returned to the mountain. During the quiet night, he personally came to my room, sat at my bedside while I was asleep, sat for a while, then returned to his room. I was actually awake but my body was outside, far from home, lost in Buddhist and Taoist studies, often with a peaceful and natural heart.
