Introduction of Teacher Cui Guowen:

Vice President of the Tsinghua Old Science and Technology Workers Association, renowned master of I Ching, professor at Tsinghua University, chairman of the Tsinghua University Executive Education Club, vice chairman of the Beijing branch of the MIT Alumni Association; former deputy dean of Tsinghua University Continuing Education College, director of the Tsinghua University Center for External Academic and Cultural Exchanges, director of the Tsinghua University Foreign Affairs Office; visiting scholar at MIT (1978-1980), visiting scholar at UC Berkeley (1986-1987), visiting scholar at the University of Hong Kong (1997-1999).

He was one of the first 52 scholars to visit the United States after the founding of New China, and also the youngest among them. In that team of 52 people, Cui Guowen was the only one without a complete university education. He entered Tsinghua University from Shanghai in 1965, but only attended for one year before the Cultural Revolution began, preventing him from continuing his university studies.

Rich learning and life experiences have enabled Teacher Cui to conduct higher-level research in the fields of Chinese classical studies and I Ching. Today, his 'I Ching' and Chinese classical wisdom are widely appreciated!
